A celebration of Earth and fund-raiser for The Society for Evolution Education
Celebrate nature and evolution with music and dancing! Masks/Costumes are required for this day of fun and entertainment!
When : October 31st, 2009 (Halloween). – Family hours (Noon – 6PM) / Adults Only (8PM to Midnight)
Where : Sunrock Farm, 103 Gibson Lane, Wilder, KY 41076 (Get Directions)
Cost : Adults ($10.00), Children under 12 ($5.00)
- Be part of an all-species evolution parade! Where will your costume appear in the parade time line?
- The parade for families takes place at 3:30 PM. The Adult Only parade is at 10:00 PM.
- Gather for a costume/mask “show & tell”!
- Be ready for laughter and surprises as participants reveal what their costume/mask represents and when it first appeared on Earth. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes/masks in designated categories such as :
- most original costume/mask
- funniest costume/mask
- best group costume
- most authentic costume/mask
- Family Time : 2:00 PM
- Adult Time : 9:00 PM
- Be ready for laughter and surprises as participants reveal what their costume/mask represents and when it first appeared on Earth. Prizes will be awarded for best costumes/masks in designated categories such as :
- Farm animals, provided by Sunrock Farm, will be waiting for our younger participants to pet and hold during the family activities.
- Come celebrate the Earth and its life giving forces. Celebrate the history of the Earth!
- Bonfires will be lit during evening hours.
- Food and Drink will be available for purchase.
- Parking is available at Sunrock Farm.
